Once again I was considering the topic of Sarah Palin and how she came to be chosen. I wrote some of it and posted earlier. Shortly later I was over at Digby's place. where she describes how the choice of Palin happened.
Looking at the last few posts makes me realize how events can really fuck you over. Well, at least I thought that Palin was a bad pick. Little did I know how much McCain really had no other option than sucking up to the evangelicals. They are really his only troops. I guess it was the best of many lousy options.
